MKM Necks are designed to replace standard 25-1/2″ scale necks with 22 frets extending to the fingerboard’s end without any overhang, such as those found on MM style necks. These unique necks are slightly longer than standard Fender necks and require bodies set up for 22-fret necks without the 22nd fret overhang. They usually have a wheel truss rod nut at the heel.
