9/20/24 We have just added a neck measuring kit to help any of our customers that want to copy or combine specifications from previous or current necks and apply them to their new neck order. There’s a great freedom and flexibility when you can select all of the specs and design your own custom neck – the results can be dramatic and inspiring! 9/1/24 Tons of exciting new news over here at Musikraft!! We just started offering bass bodies again – with J Bass bodies available right now and P Bass and Tele Bass bodies soon to come! We are also now offering the Star bodies straight out of the 80’s. Check our Star body order page for all of the options available. We hope to have Xplorer bodies available within a few weeks. If you like Black Limba (Korina) we have an excellent stash of some really amazing wood for all types of bodies!
8/1/24 Just in – Super Light Weight Paulownia wood for bodies! Paulownia is an extremely light weight wood with wonderful tonal properties! It is best when paired with a maple top as that increases the articulation and sustain of the wood and allows it to be much louder acoustically which translates into much better overall sound when amplified!

We have now received our Korina and Padauk shipments for body blanks and the wood is amazing! Now is the perfect time to place your body orders for these or any of our other exotic or traditional vintage wood bodies. Lead times are still very short for bodies these days so you can order your body and get it quickly so that you have enough time to finish it before you take delivery of your neck order which will allow you to complete your project in a much shorter time frame. Please order the body as a separate order if you would like to take advantage of our current quick turn around times!

Great news – we now have Maple and Walnut body blanks available and are expecting Black and White Korina within the next week or so! It’s a great time to order a body as the turn around time is very short for bodies these days!
We’ve been working overtime here at the MK shop and have been able to make a handful of very special bodies available in our “In-Stock” showroom. We expect these to sell fast so be sure to check the “In Stock Bodies” link on our front page. We have been adding new bodies each day and they are going quickly so do not miss out!

Please note – Due to quicker processing times, lead times for most body orders are less than neck orders at only a 1-3 week turnaround time! If you want to order a body and neck and want to get started on the finish work for the body -let us know and we can make arrangements to ship the body as soon as it is done instead of waiting to ship them both together. This will allow you to get a head start on the finishing work which generally takes longer than neck finishing depending on the process you are using.
Back in stock!! 1 piece and 2 piece Alder for bodies – Please check our Custom Body order pages for options and listings. We also still have a good supply of light weight Swamp Ash. If you have been thinking about ordering a new body made from nice light weight Swamp Ash NOW is the time to pull the trigger before it sells out! Also do not forget to check out our Luminlay side dots with mini Ultraviolet flashlight – these look incredible and will help with visibility in the light or the dark – especially for those low light/ no light situations! Another recent addition to our inventory is some really nice figured Cocobolo! This wood is great for fingerboards – it looks amazing! A nice piece of Cocobolo will really add to the overall looks and sound of your guitar!
** Please note: As with alot of other woods, current day Ebony is not quite the same as it was years ago. It is not always completely jet black with no streaks or marks. True jet black Ebony is very rare and hard to come by these days. Most boards will have some very light streaking or minor variations in the wood which only affects the look of the wood slightly – it still has that same sleek feel and great tonal characteristics. If you order Ebony please understand that we cannot guarantee that it will be the traditional jet black version – it will likely have some very minor discolorations or streaks in it which is the accepted “new norm” industry wide.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Luthier’s Assistant for entry-level positions at our Guitar Parts Factory in Vineland, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Fretting and sanding guitar bodies and necks.
Demonstrating proficiency in woodworking tasks.
Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Requirements:
Woodworking skills are preferred but not mandatory; however, a keen willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to stand for extended periods at a workstation.
Willingness to work in a dusty environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Punctuality and reliability are crucial; candidates should demonstrate a consistent attendance record.

As we progress through the beginning of this year, our team is dedicated to the efficient handling of customized orders. Simultaneously, Scott and Jim are tirelessly engaged in catering to our current and new OEM clients. Our commitment to research and development has resulted in the expansion of our product offerings, which now include four Baritone conversion necks and four (Non-Conversion) full-length Baritone necks, along with a few more Banana-style head shapes. We are excited about the opportunities this year holds.

We have returned from our vacation, rejuvenated and ready to embrace the new year along with a fresh set of objectives. The first half of this month will be dedicated to catching up on our custom builds.
In addition to our ongoing commitment to producing high-quality Fender-licensed replacement necks, we are excited to announce our plans for expanding our OEM offerings. At present, we proudly manufacture components for numerous guitar companies across the globe. With your support, we are determined to maintain and further enhance these collaborations.
