Introducing our latest creation, the Musikraft Set-Neck Guitar! Born from valuable feedback on our Super U Back profile necks, this guitar offers a simple yet intriguing design. Users had the option to modify their existing body to accommodate a thicker heel, but some sought a drop-in solution. We delved into the research, crafting a neck with a profile greater than 1″ while maintaining a no-fuss bolt-on solution.
To achieve this, we started with a 1-1/8″ heel thickness as opposed to the standard Fender thickness of 1″. We then notched the underside of the neck to a standard Fender thickness, resulting in a seamless fit with a beefier heel-to-body union. Moreover, inspired by the classic Les Paul, we decided to glue the neck in, adding elegance to the design. The enhanced tone from this union is unmatched.
